Out There

The photo was taken in the hallway of a fort/castle thing in Cuba. There were lots of plants growing out of the wall on the outside and I thought they looked really interesting through the "windows" in what was otherwise a rather cramped stone tunnel.

I really liked the way the picture turned out, so I was going to post it as pure photography, but Maureen said it needed something more, so I wrote the poem.
