I originally posted this as an art-poetry piece with the photo that it was inspired by, but I had a request to re-submit it as straight poetry so here it is. Even though I personally don't think it makes any sensewithout the picture...

why this makes sense? easy, it's effecient poetry.
I'm not a fan of visualisations with poetry. Poetry should be universal, the reader should be able to create his own castle, with his own light, his own feeling of lonelines and his own colors....
When you submit a poem with a picture, you disallow the readers that extra dimension. Poetry with a capital P turns in to poetry....
I love this, and this gets a place in my favorites
